We were in the process of looking for our first home when a family member referred us to Jeff. I am so glad she did! Jeff was fantastic to work with.
At our first meeting, we told Jeff our budget (which was limited), the areas of the county we were interested in, and what amenities we wanted in any house we would purchase. He did an excellent job of explaining to us what areas of Wake County we might get the most for our money, and helped us manage our expectations relative to our price point.
Jeff never sent us listings that exceeded our budget, and never once pressured us to change our price point. To the contrary, he actually sent us listings that were below our budget if it fit our criteria.
We toured many, many houses before finding “the” house. Each time, Jeff offered valuable advice and information about the property. Often, he noticed many things that we did not, nor would many other agents. Due to his diverse background as a land surveyor and professional engineer, he brought an expertise that no real estate agents that I know of possess.
As first-time homebuyers, we were nervous and a bit clueless. Jeff did an excellent job explaining each step of the home-buying process to us. Because people buy and sell houses each day, it is easy to forget that you’re entering into a legal contract when you buy a home. Since Jeff is a North Carolina licensed attorney, we felt confident in his ability to represent us and keep our best interests in mind when negotiating our contract.

I can’t say enough good things about working with Jeff throughout our home-buying process.
